One of the very few Earl Greys available that uses organic bergamot oil. The aroma is distinctively natural, and the citrusy taste is deliciously bittersweet. Predominantly using black tea from Yunnan province in China, the flavor of this classic Earl Grey is round, faintly toasty, smooth with a sweet/dry finish that is unique yet familiar. It finds the balance between tea and bergamot all the way to the end of the cup. Organic Earl Grey is made of rich organically grown black tea leaves and golden buds with a twist of citrusy organic bergamot. Bergamot oil is pressed from the rind of the fruit, then tumbled with the tea until the pungent aroma is absorbed, resulting in a distinctive and aromatic cup. Whether or not the Second Earl of Grey actually "discovered" this blend is debatable, but its popularity is not.
