The ready-to-use Foothill Farms Spanish Reduced Sodium Whole Grain Brown Rice Mix is a blend made with par-boiled rice, onion powder, garlic powder, spices, and beet powder. It is low in sodium which makes it a healthy alternative to other rice mixes. Preparation instruction: Convection Oven: In a 2€ full size steam table pan, combine 2 ½ qts hot water (180°F) and 4 oz (8 Tbsp) butter (optional). Stir in contents of rice bag (25 oz) and seasoning bag (11 oz). Stir well. Cover with foil or pan lid and bake in a 400ºF convection oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and stir well. Return to oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
