Preparation instruction: To enhance your scratch stocks for stews, sauces and gravies add base to reach desired flavor level. To make an instant fully seasoned stock/broth add base to boiling water and stir. 3/4 tsp. base yields 1 cup, 1 tbsp base yields 1 quart, 1 lb base (1 container) yield 5 gallons.
