The Tony Chachere's Red Bean Seasoning Mix is made with dehydrated onion, garlic powder, red chili, bell pepper, and spices. Great to add on red beans, sausages, and rice, it delivers a consistent taste every time. Red Bean Seasoning Mix 12/2.2 oz
Preparation instruction: Either soak 1 lb. of red beans in cool water over night or combine cool water and red beans in a large pot. Bring to a boil and allow beans to cook to the point of splitting. At this point drain off water. Combine another 12 cups of cool water and prepared beans in a large pot. bring to a simmer and cook for one hour. Combine 2 cups cool water and seasoning mix and add to the pot. Stir to combine. Add 1/2 lb of sausage and or ham to pot. Return to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 hours until beans are tender.
